United Way of Kaw Valley
The United Way of Kaw Valley works on a wide range of community-oriented issues in Douglas, Jackson, Jefferson, and Shawnee counties. They seek to help individuals and families thrive and create more equitable communities by devising solutions that leverage their assets (convening, strategic investments, awareness building, and advocacy).
ThrYve
ThrYve supports a community-level approach to prevent youth violence by empowering youth and families to thrive by providing a safe and supportive environment for our youth and families to flourish.
LEAD UP (Leadership, Education, Adolescent Development and Unlimited Potential)
LEAD UP provides leadership and college preparation support to high school youth who are racial and ethnic minorities. The mission of the program is to prepare underrepresented youth to thrive in high school and college through positive leadership opportunities and college readiness supports that enhances their skills, resources, and social networks.
