    volunteer.ku.edu is a volunteer management site maintained by the Center for Community Outreach. Check here often for on and off campus service opportunities, including staffing the Campus Cupboard, mentoring youth in local schools, and caring for the campus garden.

  • Kaw Valley Volunteers

    Managed by the United Way of Kaw Valley, Kaw Valley Volunteers hosts volunteer opportunities from dozens of nonprofit organizations across Lawrence and beyond, including Ballard Center, Harvesters Community Food Network, and Special Olympics Kansas.

  • HireJayhawks*

    HireJayhawks.com helps connect KU students, employers, career services offices, faculty and staff to help students achieve their career goals!

  • Volunteer Kansas

    The Volunteer Kansas website offers an online exchange where volunteers can browse opportunities to donate their time to worthy causes. Users are able to search by a keyword or phrase, range of dates, location or by organization name.

  • serve.kumc.edu*

    serve.kumc.edu is a volunteer management site very similar to volunteer.ku.edu but specifically for the KU Medical Center! Check here often for service opportunities, including JayDoc clinic events and homeless population outreach.

  • VolunteerMatch

    This site matches interested volunteers with organizations in their area using one of the largest nonprofit networks in existence. Interested in volunteering outside of Douglas County? This is a great site to use to look for opportunities.

  • Idealist

    Idealist has been connecting organizations with volunteers for 25 years. They also post job and internships, and manage a graduate school directory!

  • CatchAFire

    This site connect professionals who want to serve with nonprofits who need their skills. Choose from various cause areas, skillsets required, and time commitments.

  • DoSomething

    DoSomething is the largest nonprofit in the U.S. dedicated to young people and social change. Search and join campaigns through their website!
