CSL Student Community Action Corps

The Student Community Action Corps utilizes service learning and community partnerships to encourage academic success and professional readiness for students and positive community impact.

The Student Community Action Corps employs KU students with various community non-profits and/or other community engaged efforts. Students serve in specific community-oriented capacities that strengthen their university experience while also helping to build a better community. Students also receive support from the CSL staff and monthly training intended to support their professional readiness and academic success.

We envision a program that fosters relationships between the university and broader community by creating opportunities for students to conduct service learning that is mutually beneficial and meaningful to community partners.
