The University of Kansas is an ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge participant campus, a 2020 signatory of the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge Presidents’ Commitment, and a participant in the Big XII Votes Challenge. The university also retains the Carnegie Foundation's Classification for Community Engagement.
