Service Learning Course Development Workshop

To help instructors explore incorporating service learning into their courses, the Center for Service Learning offers Service Learning Course Development Workshops. Instructors can attend an open workshop hosted by CSL or request to cohost a workshop with their department, unit, institute, etc. 

Content covered in a Service Learning Course Development Workshop will support:

  • designing assignments that meaningfully connect community engagement with course learning outcomes
  • developing and sustaining reciprocal and productive community partnerships
  • utilizing resources and support available from the CSL and other campus partners
