James Pressdee

James is a junior majoring in Biology and minoring in Spanish. As a pre-medicine student, he is particularly interested in how education plays a vital role in health outcomes for different populations.

James is a Corps member serving with LEAD UP, which supports the mentorship of youth and increasing the accessibility of college for students. James works directly with youth and helps direct, recruit and fundraise for the LEAD UP student organization in order to include more KU students as program volunteers.

Outside of his work with LEAD UP, James coaches soccer for Sporting kaw Valley, service on the board for the National Marrow Donation Program, and volunteers at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
