Susan Harvey, PhD

Dr. Harvey is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Health, Sports, and Exercise Sciences. She instructs courses and supports research in the areas of health literacy, obesity, and adolescent obesity prevention. Dr. Harvey has been actively involved in supporting and championing the work of service-learning and community engagement at KU. Since 2016, she has served as a faculty ambassador with the Center for Service Learning. In 2018, she was the recipient of the Faculty Excellence in Service Learning Award through the Center for Service Learning at KU.
