Natalia Duarte

Natalia is a freshman majoring in Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavioral Science focusing on Early Childhood. She is particularly interested in how early experiences shape cognitive and emotional growth in children.

Natalia is working with the Children's Community Center with the aspiration to help her new community in Lawrence. Natalia hopes to positively impact her community with the help of CSL and CCC. With a commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and their families, she aspires to contribute to the field of child psychology and behavioral health.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Natalia volunteers with the KU Red Cross. Outside of her studies, Natalia enjoys participating in the Latin American Student Union at KU; she believes it is essential to have safe spaces for minorities on campus.
