Biography —

Alyssa Crawford is a second-year graduate student studying Computer Science at the University of Kansas, with a concentration in data science. They currently serve as the Graduate Student Hourly for the Center for Service Learning at the University of Kansas. Alyssa also acts as the Public Relations & Marketing Chair for the Graduate Engineering Association. 

Alyssa graduated with a Computer Science B.S. degree from the University of Arizona in 2023, and served in various technical & programming-based education roles before coming to KU. They are interested in the multidisciplinary and public-interest applications of data science, technology, and programming, and their underlying ethics.
