Biography —

Emma is a sophomore majoring in Journalism with a minor in Atmospheric Science. She is excited to work with the Children's Community Center to connect with the Lawrence community and hopefully have a positive impact on the people in the community.

Emma wants to use her communication experience as a journalism student to help provide a voice to the Lawrence community and encourage participation of other community members in similar scenarios. Outside of academics, she participates in the Oread and University Singers choirs and multiple Media Crossroads shows for the School of Journalism, including the local news outlet Good Morning Indian Country.
