Community of Practice
Opportunities for collective learning and engagement
CSL has created a community of practice that offers opportunities for collective learning and engagement. These structured programs are designed to help faculty strengthen professional ties between departments/schools, deepen faculty practice in service learning and civic engagement, and connect curriculum to community-engaged initiatives.
The Big Share
The Big Share is a gathering for faculty to discuss service learning challenges, lessons learned, and share some of the amazing projects that engage students in improving their communities.
Faculty Ambassadors
The CSL Faculty Ambassador program is a community of practice that assembles service learning practitioners to share best practices, network across disciplines, and advocate for community engagement in their academic schools and departments.
CSL Faculty Fellow Program
Fellows work with CSL staff and the Faculty Advisory Board on programming and new initiatives specific to service learning.
Faculty Seminar
A semester-long seminar focused on discussing and developing creative strategies and diverse partnerships for defining and pursuing community engagement.
A meeting of faculty, staff, and community partners to network and find points of collaboration and partnership opportunities.
