The University of Kansas will host its 113th Homecoming from Oct. 2 to Nov. 2, culminating with the KU football game against Oklahoma State on Nov. 1 at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. The university and local communities have several opportunities to get involved.

All Jayhawks, including faculty and staff, are invited to volunteer at Super Service Saturday to assist area nonprofit organizations. The 2025 event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 23. Sign up by Aug 22.

A national civic engagement group has recognized Maddie Souser, a senior from Lansing, in the 2024 Student Voting Honor Roll, which recognizes students at participating campuses who have gone above and beyond to advance nonpartisan student voter registration, education and turnout efforts in their communities.
